European Vacation 2007, Part 2

Here are a couple photos from Sevilla, Tarifa, and Granada. Granada was probably one of the coolest cities in Spain. The architecture was amazing. There is still a huge Arabic influence there from when the Moors conquered Spain way back in the day. Also, it's one of the last cities that gives free tapas with each drink ordered at the bar. Needless to say, we never had to buy an actual dinner. Go there if you can. You won't be disappointed.

European Vacation 2007

Hey, I know it's been quite a while since my last post. I meant to post pics as I travelled Europe this past May, but forgot the usb cord for my camera. Sucked...... I'll try to keep uploading some photos over the next couple of days. I took a bunch.

Anyway, here are a couple pics from my trip to Spain. Started off in Madrid. We landed just in time to catch the end of the Festival de San Isodro. One of Madrids largest festivals and it marks the beginning of the bullfighting season in Spain. There was live music and other cool events scattered around the city. Saw some great stuff and got the chance to swing into Subaquatica while in there. Maya Hayuk was in the process of setting up her show when I stopped in. Didn't get the chance to attend the reception on opening night though, had to take off to Sevilla.

Photos from Melbourne, Australia

Just found my old digital camera that I took to Australia and New Zealand last spring. Saw a bunch of great street art by the likes of Phibs, Reka, Nails, Lister, and a ton of others. Actually got to meet Phibs and Nails as they were painting. If you haven't checked out the work of Nails and Phibs, you should definitely hit up their websites.

Elements of the Mural

Here are the three seperate linoleum carvings I created and put together for the mural. I'm too much of a control freak to just be able to paint directly on a wall without any initial direction.

New Mural Just Completed!

Just finished a 12' x12' mural at a warehouse space in Denver at 30th and Larimer. It took me awhile since its only the second one I've ever done.
